Endoscopy treatment statistics
In 2013, we performed 719 endoscopic bowel examinations. Gastroscopies were only 134 in number: we were forced to limit our work in this field due to miserly payments from Hamburg’s health insurance association.
In 2013, the complete colonoscopy rate was 99%. This was possible only thanks to excellent support work from our staff – who have many years of training in endoscopy – and also only thanks to the use of modern endoscopy technology.
